If you're reading this, first of all - thank you. It's been a long road to get here, and the world of Sword 'N' Board is something that I've been building unknowingly since I was a little kid. It wasn't until more recently that I felt comfortable finally trying to turn it into something that my children - and hopefully yours as well - could experience!
As a child, because of the situation at home I would often go on my own pretend adventures, just like Sidd. I would make my own sword and shield out of the cardboard boxes that my father would bring home from work, and I would venture out and fight imaginary monsters all in the safety of my backyard. Sidd is very much a reflection of myself when I was younger, but I also noticed through my own children that Sidd also represents something that is fairly universal with most children - the creativity of imagination.
This is something that I hope comes through in the first book which will soon be available, and will continue throughout the rest of the books to come!
